More About EEE

DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING:


The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was established in the year 2010. With a sanctioned intake of 60, the department provides a 4-year Under-Graduate Program in B.E. Electrical and Electronics Engineering. It has been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and AICTE, New Delhi in 2019-22. Over the years, the course has gained more traction among the students and the number of students choosing this course is increasing year by year. The students of EEE get an opportunity to contribute to the growth of technology and the course itself facilitates new research ideas. It helps them develop an entrepreneurial mindset. Every academic year, the department routinely produces a sizable number of university rank holders and it also has a strong placement track record. Since this is a field in which engineers can work in various industries, the scope of EEE is immense and the graduates in this course have a great opportunity to secure their wonderful future by working with top organizations or starting their businesses and becoming entrepreneurs.

Wizards Of The
Electroworld - DESCRIPTION

Circuit bugging is one of the fine arts in Electronics design. Circuit Wizard comes with an unleashing event to kindle your circuit knowledge. Test your circuit concepts by participating in this contest with your teammates. Compete with your co-contestant and tag your team as a Circuit Wizard

RULES ROUNDS
PHASE -ALPHA-(LOGIX)
Each team will be given a schematic for a series of logic circuits, and their task is to identify the binary outputs. The team that earns the most points in the allotted time qualifies for the D2D phase.
PHASE-BETA (Desire to Design)
Implement your conceptual knowledge to construct the given real-time circuits. A problem statement and the bugged circuit schematic will be your new team member. (Required Components and the data sheets will be provided) The team that passes these two leaps will be tagged as the Circuit wizard
GUIDELINES
A maximum of 3 members can be in a team Usage of electronic gadgets is not permitted. Teams will be disqualified if it is found to be under any act of malpractice.

Esparenzo - DESCRIPTION

Esparenzo is a technical quiz on topics related to electrical and electronics. With the electrical and electronics industry growing at such an alarming rate, we need a brain that’s sharp as a razor. And the quest for the search for this perfect brain ends at esparenzo.

RULES ROUNDS
PHASE – 1 (Screening Round)
A set of 15 objective-style questions would be distributed to each team. Time limit – 15 minutes. Only 6 teams would be selected for the next round. In case of a tie between 2 or more teams, further questions would be asked for the final selection.
PHASE – 2 Top 6 Teams
Each team has 4rounds
1. Shoot Up 2. Riddle 3. Decode 4. More or less
1. Shoot Up:
Direct Questions (q/a) - 10 points
If it is not answered questions will be passed on.
2. Riddle
A question or puzzle to be solved. - 30 points
2 clues will be given. If clues are taken points will be reduced to 10 points.
If it is not answered questions will be passed on
3. Decode
Tricky questions will be asked. They've to find the answer which will be a single word. 10 points.
4. More or Less
questions will be asked related to values and numbers. Participants should find whether the value is more or less.(True or False). Answering time is limited to 15 seconds per question. The winner and Runner teams will be decided

El Dorado - DESCRIPTION

Treasure hunt is one of the most enthusiastic events. Use your hunting skills to find the hidden things. Search like Indiana Jones for the hidden clues. Win the treasure by competing with your opponents and gain the title as scavengers

RULES ROUNDS
MISSION - 1 ( MOCK ROUND)
basic electrical and physics quiz sheet will be given to the participants Teams should answer the questions.
The team with highest marks will qualified to the next round
MISSION - 2 ( SCAVENGER HUNT)
Apply your skills in real-time and find the hidden clues Within the given time limit. Within the alotted time the teams that didn't find the clues are eliminated
MISSION - 3 (CIRCUIT MANIA)
The qualified teams should build a circuit according to the clues that they found in the previous round ( participants should carry their own laptops)
GUIDELINES
1: a maximum of 3 members in a team
2: usage of electronic gadgets is not permitted
3: teams will be disqualified if it is fount to be under any act of malpractice
4: winners will be finalized on the basis of time and efficiency of your circuit

Ingenious carte-DESCRIPTION

The purpose of this paper presentation is to enhance the participant's ability in the art of academic writing or making papers in English and to present it. It also helps broaden the minds of the participants a little more. You grow your own knowledge of the subject area by taking part in paper presentation.

RULES ROUNDS
Phase-I
In the first phase, each team or an individual participant will be given a total time duration of 10 minutes. First 7 minutes to present their respective paper. Another 3 minutes judges queries will take place. The paper will be Evaluated based on the Format, Content, Relevance, Uniqueness and Application of the paper.
Phase-II
The participants/teams whose paper is finalized by the judges, will be sent to the next phase which is phase-II where they have to do the presentation in the board room. The team/participant whose paper is finalized in the phase-II are the winners!
GUIDELINES
 A team can have only two members(Individual participation is also allowed)  Topics-EV, Renewable energy, power system analysis, electrical machines, battery systems, UHVDC Technology, 5G, hydrogen fuel and smart grid  Applicants should upload their ppt, abstract and full paper during registration itself.  If any of the mentioned above documents are missing, that particular response will not be considered  Applicants will be shortlisted, reviewed and selected by us on the basis of their ppt, abstract and full paper’s relevance  Total time given for each team/participant is 10 minutes(7 minutes for the presentation & 3 minutes judges queries)  For queries reach out to the email-ID ( Sympomoneyheist@gmail.com )

Elegancia - DESCRIPTION

"Programming isn't about what you know; it's about what you can figure out.” - Chris Pine.
ELEGANCIA is a test of your knowledge and your critical thinking skill as a programmer.
Put your minds together as a team and take the challenge.

RULES ROUNDS
ROUND 1:
Each team draws a lot and selects one programming language for the round. Based on the language they choose, teams would be matched up against one another.
The winning team moves to the next round.
ROUND 2:(Debugging)
The teams would be given a set of codes which needs to be debugged. The quickness of the team would be taken as one of the grading criteria.
ROUND 3:
Each team would be given a problem statement and a stipulated time will be allotted to complete the given question.
GUIDELINES
Each team can have a maximum of 3 members. Teams must bring their laptops. Languages allowed: python, C, C++ and java One language to be used per round(language selected in round 1 cannot be used again in round 2) The teams can use their preferred language in round 3 without any constraints. Use of any online resources or hard copy of reference content is prohibited.

Technologia-DESCRIPTION

Connection is a game where a set of images are displayed on the screen and also a question will be placed before you.
With the help of the images, the answer to that question must be found.

RULES ROUNDS
PHASE -ALPHA-(LOGIX)
The participator should be able to connect all those images to form a word that can be related to the question asked.
The participator must be able to identify the answer with the help of the clues given in the images.
When the participant tries to guess the answer, he/she must raise his/her hands to answer the question.
If the answer is right, then that particular group will be selected for the next round.
If not, the group will not be qualified for the next round.
Phases
There will be 3 rounds.
Each round will have 15 questions.
The team that's able to find more of the answers will be announced as the winner.
GUIDELINES
There can be 4 people per group. The use of any electronic gadgets is strictly prohibited. The team which is found indulging in any sort of malpractice will be disqualified immediately.
